Outgoing Treasurer of BR4R, Rik Dillon, was recently awarded Life Membership for his contribution to the organisation.
A surprise lunch was held in his honour, at which President Marilyn Leeks presented him with his badge, thanking him for six years of service.
Rik took on the job before BR4R’s involvement in CSGs and family settlement, and then, as families began to arrive, guided us through the ever-increasing complexities of managing multiple bank accounts plus membership, fund-raising, grants and donations.
“I can’t recall a problem or challenge that Rik would not take on, and successfully complete,” said Marilyn. “His response to any request was, no problem.”
