New Arrivals

In the lead-up to Refugee Week 2023, Ballina Region for Refugees Publicity Co-ordinator, Lisa Dillon, interviewed two families who have settled in our region in 2022 and 2023 with the intention of including them in Refugee Week displays at Ballina and Lennox Head libraries.  The purpose was to introduce the families – their experiences, hopes and aspirations – to a wider regional audience, in order to foster greater understanding and acceptance by the local community.
