Two stalwarts of BR4R, Trish Antoniacomi and Meg Pickup, have been awarded Life Membership for their nine years of service to the organisation.
The two inaugural members of BR4R were presented with badges by President Marilyn Leeks at our recent Celebrating our BR4R Community event. Marilyn thanked them for their dedication to helping refugees through their work.
Trish and Meg have organised and operated BR4R’s market stall almost every month for the last seven years – only occasionally being stopped by extreme weather and Covid restrictions.
Among their many other contributions, Meg has run roadside rallies for many years, and Trish is an expert at rostering volunteers to support almost every event.
Like many people in this dynamic organisation, they are quiet achievers who we can’t do without.
